This structured firearms training course focuses on safe rifle handling, proper setup, and the development of foundational shooting skills using a carbine or rifle platform. Emphasis is placed on building confidence, understanding equipment, and establishing consistent shooting fundamentals in a controlled environment.
The concepts of safe operation, proper positioning, and maintaining control of the rifle while engaging targets will be reinforced throughout the class.

Understand essential gear and how to configure your equipment for comfort and control
Basic sight alignment & zeroing
Learn the fundamentals of zeroing your rifle using iron sights and basic optics (red dots)
Reloading fundamentals
Practice safe and controlled reloading techniques at a comfortable pace
Controlled response drills
Develop basic reaction skills while maintaining safety, accuracy, and control
Foundational shooting positions
Learn stable shooting positions such as standing and supported positions
Single & multiple target engagement (basic)
Practice engaging targets with focus on accuracy and proper technique
Introduction to movement
Learn how to move safely and maintain control of your rifle in simple drills
Basic use of cover
Understand the fundamentals of positioning and awareness when using cover
Basic Rifle Training - 2 hours
An entry level course for carbine shooters. This class is geared for those who have not had any formal instruction. Topics covered include safety, stance, zeroing for iron sights and optics, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with their carbine includes field stripping and maintenances. Other subject matter that is covered includes reloads, shooting positions, and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and bull’s eye shooting.
